Lugogo based side KCCA FC fell to URA by a goal to nil in an entertaining thriller played yesterday at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje.

Steven Mukwala’s first half strike in the 37th minute gave the hosts the lead which proved to be the eventual match winner.

Morley Byekwaso’s side started the game on the front foot but had two goals flagged for offside.

These were from Sadat Anaku and Mato Rogers in the 24th and 32nd minute. Anaku’s goal however brought question marks especially from the KCCA fans since the midfielder appeared to be on side.

URA’s sharpshooter Mukwala made no mistake as he found the back of the net in the 37th minute.

The Kasasiro boys came back in the second minute with hoping to get an equalizer and hopefully an eventual winner but in vain.

URA FC goalie Alionzi Nafian stepped up for the tax collectors each time the visitors made a threat.

KCCA FC now top the table with just a point above URA who have played a game less.

In the other games, Onduparaka beat Tooro United by 4 goals to 2.

Vipers also missed the chance to go top of the table after being held to a 1-1 draw by BUL at St Mary’s Kitende.

Vipers had found the lead in the 48th minute through an own goal by BUL’s Ochorra.

Bul however leveled matters in stoppage time through George Kasonko.
