Uganda Cranes forward Farouk Miya joins new European club

Uganda Cranes forward Farouk Miya has joined a new European club after spending six months without a club.

The 24 year old joined Ukrainian side FC Lyviv which plays in the top tier of the Ukrainian league.

Miya was released by Turkish club FC Konyaspor at the start of th 2021/22 season and he’s been without a club since then.

Miya will be hoping to inspire FC Lyviv to fight against being relegated as they sit 12th on the log that has 16 teams.

The former Vipers SC player will also be hoping to impress his new bosses to get a long term contract and extend his stay in Ukraine more than the 6 months he was initially given.

Miya has played for a number of clubs ever since his move to Europe.

These include the likes of
Standard Liege, Royal Mouscoron all in Belgium, HNK Gorica in Croatia, Sevail in Azerbaijan and Konyaspor in Turkey.
