Next Media Services Officiates New Sports Channel Dubbed ‘NBS Sports’

Next Media Services is happy to announce its launch of yet another exciting sports broadcasting channel called ‘NBS Sports’.

The Naguru-based station has brought on board this new channel to enjoy Ugandan sports content and also not to forget the unique live-action coverage that will include sports talks, and highlight shows wholesomely.

The Next Media Deputy and group CEO Joseph Kigozi was very happy with the team and gave beautiful remarks on the kickstart of a new journey in sports.

The NBS sports channel has many sponsors aligned to enable Ugandans to have premium content and experience. These include the Federation of the Basketball Associations, Uganda Boxing Federation, Uganda Athletics Federation, Federation of Motorsports Clubs of Uganda, The Pool Associations of Uganda, and Uganda Chess Association among others.

The launch that was held at Sheraton Hotel attracted different known guests including Deputy Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, Minister of Information, Communication Technology and National Guidance Dr Chris Baryomunsi and State Minister of Sports Hon. Hamson Obua.

Later, speeches were given by the above personnel grateful for the great idea of launching a Ugandan own channel to build Uganda.

The channel will be available for viewing in HD and SD on DSTV Channel 377, Startimes Channel 255, FREE-TO-AIR Channel 24, and streaming live on Afro Mobile 24/7.
